First Elden Ring and now Chained Together! I'm loving these *priceless* vids

This is a japanese game so surely this is relevant: "Bokura" ぼくら is a word that you can translate to "us", being the plural form of a boyishly masculine way to refer to the self. It's like how "me" becomes "we" to mean "me and [others]". It's pronounced "boh-koo-rah" (using the japanese R which is not as hard as the english R). Jas pronounces it correctly at the start. (Ash does not.)

@stumpt Theme suggestion: Each player chooses one card (or stat) they can't pick and the opposite card (or stat) they have to pick if it shows up, it is players choice if neither shows up. Card example: Ash can't pick "Careful planning" but has to pick "Barrage" if the card(s) show(s) up. Stat example: Aenne can't pick HP cards but has to pick DMG cards. I think the card one can be more fun and be easier to do which might lead to an interesting build depending on the card you choose to ban/force yourself to pick. A twist along the way, when someone has 2 out of 3 wins. The card that would benefit you the most, out the cards you get draw from, is another banned card to pick.

I was going to have an aneurysm watching ash. He had one job. Put wood into the furnace everything else was automatic. And if someone needed electric balls they just grab it and make it. The process was instant. And by making them ahead of time you make it so if someone needs a plain cannonball they have none.

Also, when the apocalypse hits and cell phones, computers and TV are rendered obsolete, humans will have to revert to reading good old fashioned books. And then who's the one who's prepared?

Spoiler warning just for people who haven't seen the whole video: So, I think this is obviously a "no-correct-answer," trolley problem-type situation and I think it's SO cool of the game to split the characters up and only present part of the problem to each. Specifically because of how different people experiencing this game will pick up on different aspects, might misinterpret or poorly explain what they heard on their side, forget to mention details that seemed insignificant because they are missing key info, etc. etc. Brilliant idea. Here, because Ash didn't have the context of the missing boy NOT being the dad's biological son, he didn't notice that the dad never once called him anything like "my wife's son" or "her son" or even "my step-son." He specifically calls him "our son." Ash also didn't explain that the dad wants to believe that their son is somewhere happily living his life but that he suspects something much worse happened to him, OR that his character asked the dad if he hated the boy and the dad said "Of course not, I love him!" On Jazzy's side, she explained everything to Ash well, but because of the way the mom explained things to Jazzy's character, it made it seem like the husband had never really cared and that he was asking her to start a new family even before the boy ran away, which absolutely would be a shitty thing to do! Some might even infer that this could be the reason for the son running away. But the dad saying that they should move on after a full three years of the two of them searching together and finding nothing is a totally different story. I think there are also fairly obvious signs that the mom has been dealing with a lot of past trauma and has put so much of her identity into her son that it was probably unhealthy for both of them. For example, when she is alone with Jazzy she only ever calls him "my" son, not "our" son like she does when the huband is there. It might be a sign of strong possessiveness. From the dad's perspective, it's somewhat implied that THAT might be the reason the son ran away. And this is subtle, but the dad's story makes it seem like their son is probably older, maybe even a young adult. Like they'vd been together as a family for a while before he ran away, and then add three more years. But the way the mom tells it, the son could still be a toddler or elementary school kid, which makes her urgency and the dad's lack of urgency seem even more damning of the dad. I hope that there is at least a follow-up video to this where Jazzy and Ash see the other perspective and talk about it knowing the full story!

the visual (and auditory) disconnect between the two perspectives is so shocking every time you switch them

I have a feeling this game is going to make me cry but it looks so intriguing I want to keep watching.
